Sandy cuts across Texas, lands on the Gulf

After resting up for a couple days in the playa lakes region of the Texas panhandle, Sandy undertook another long flight on 2 July. If we do the math between two points, Sandy traveled 260 miles in 7 hours and 50 minutes (that's about 33 miles an hour). Our latest information puts her on the south side of Corpus Christi Bay, Nueces County, Texas.
